Backneo.Com Credits Policy

Title: Backneo.Com Credits Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026

1. Purpose

This Credits Policy explains how credits work on BACKNEO, including how credits may be purchased, used, deducted, limited, adjusted, refunded, held, converted within expressly permitted internal workflows, or restricted.

By purchasing, receiving, holding, or using credits on BACKNEO, you agree to this Credits Policy, along with the Terms of Use and other applicable platform policies.

2. Nature of Credits

Credits are a platform-based usage mechanism that may be used to access or operate certain BACKNEO features.

Credits:

  • are not legal tender;
  • are not stored monetary value;
  • are not a bank deposit;
  • are not a traditional financial asset;
  • are not transferable, sublicensable, or tradable unless we expressly allow it within a platform workflow;
  • are not redeemable for cash except where we expressly offer a payout feature or where required by law.

Credits represent a limited contractual permission to access certain platform functionality, subject to applicable rules, pricing, availability, safety controls, and technical limits.

3. How Credits May Be Used

Credits may be consumed for activities such as:

  • AI chat or file processing;
  • image generation or image editing;
  • video generation or video editing;
  • storage-related or paid feature operations, where offered;
  • marketplace purchases;
  • other compute-intensive or premium actions.

The applicable credits amount may vary by feature, model, media type, workflow, storage behavior, commercial availability, or operational conditions.

4. Deductions

Credits may be deducted at different stages depending on the workflow.

For example, deductions may occur when:

  • a request is submitted;
  • processing begins;
  • processing reaches a material stage;
  • a purchase is confirmed;
  • a marketplace transaction is finalized;
  • a paid storage or feature event is triggered.

Not every workflow uses the same deduction moment.

5. Failed, Interrupted, or Rejected Requests

Because BACKNEO depends on software, infrastructure, network conditions, storage systems, model behavior, user inputs, and third-party components, requests may fail, time out, be refused, be blocked, or produce unusable results.

In such cases:

  • credits may be returned;
  • credits may remain deducted;
  • partial adjustments may be made;
  • no adjustment may be made.

The decision may depend on the type of failure, the stage of processing reached, abuse signals, duplicate activity, operational records, public-share state, delivery state, listing state, or platform policy.

Credits pay for access to workflows and compute activity, not for guaranteed artistic taste, guaranteed satisfaction, guaranteed uniqueness, guaranteed commercial value, or guaranteed factual accuracy.

6. Marketplace Purchases

Marketplace purchases may use credits as the transaction unit.

Unless we expressly state otherwise:

  • the buyer receives a limited license, not ownership of the underlying intellectual property;
  • a purchase may be held, reversed, or prevented from completing if delivery is incomplete, policy issues arise, rights concerns appear, fraud signals are present, or the listing is later found to be improper;
  • BACKNEO may rely on internal order, delivery, preview, asset, and compliance records in determining whether a transaction was completed, adjusted, or reversed.

7. Contributor Balances and Payout Workflows

Contributor refers to a registered BACKNEO user account, or an approved organization or individual operating through such an account, that has been granted Contributor eligibility by BACKNEO.

Contributor balances are not the same thing as ordinary wallet credits.

Where BACKNEO offers Contributor earnings features:

  • gross marketplace sale values, platform share, and contributor share may be tracked separately;
  • contributor balances may become eligible for internal transfer or payout only if and when BACKNEO marks them as available;
  • payout eligibility may depend on minimum thresholds, identity review, payment setup, fraud review, dispute status, and policy compliance;
  • BACKNEO may freeze, hold, reduce, offset, or reverse contributor balances where reasonably necessary for refunds, disputes, takedowns, fraud review, abuse prevention, mistaken payments, or legal compliance.

Not every credit balance on the platform is cash-equivalent or payout-eligible.

8. Refunds and Adjustments

Credits purchases are generally final once successfully completed, except where:

  • a refund is required by law;
  • a duplicate charge occurred;
  • a clear technical or accounting error occurred;
  • BACKNEO decides, in its discretion, to provide an adjustment.

Where we issue an adjustment, we may choose the form of remedy, including:

  • restoring credits;
  • partial restoration;
  • order reversal;
  • contributor-balance reversal;
  • account credit note or similar internal correction.

9. Fraud, Abuse, and Restrictions

BACKNEO may delay, hold, restrict, reverse, or refuse credits-related activity if we reasonably believe there is:

  • fraud;
  • abuse;
  • suspicious payment behavior;
  • account compromise;
  • marketplace manipulation;
  • false rights claims;
  • chargeback risk;
  • duplicate or automated abuse;
  • policy evasion.

This may include limiting purchases, freezing balances, suspending payouts, or disabling affected features.

10. No Guarantee of Continued Availability

Credits do not guarantee that any particular feature, model, workflow, listing, share link, storage class, or public surface will remain available.

BACKNEO may change pricing, deduction logic, feature eligibility, payout conditions, or available workflows over time.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Credits Policy from time to time.

When changes occur:

  • the revised version will be posted on this page;
  • the “Last updated” date will be changed;
  • continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised version where permitted by law.
