1. Purpose

This Credits Policy explains how credits work on BACKNEO, including how they are purchased, used, deducted, displayed, and managed within the platform.

Credits are used to access computational features and generation services across the BACKNEO environment.

By purchasing, holding, or using credits, you agree to this Credits Policy together with the platform’s Terms of Use and related policies.


2. What Credits Are

Credits are a unit of platform usage.

They are designed to measure and allocate access to processing resources, generation tools, and related service capacity available through BACKNEO.

Credits are:

  • not legal tender
  • not stored monetary value
  • not a bank deposit
  • not a financial instrument
  • not transferable property
  • not redeemable for cash except where required by law

Credits exist solely as an internal usage mechanism within the platform.


3. How Credits May Be Used

Credits may be required for actions such as:

  • AI chat and text generation
  • document analysis
  • image generation
  • video generation
  • other compute-intensive features made available by the platform

Different functions may consume different amounts of credits depending on processing type, complexity, duration, system load, quality mode, or feature configuration.

BACKNEO may update credit pricing logic for features as the platform evolves.


4. Credit Deduction

Credits are deducted when a user initiates and uses eligible platform functions.

In general:

  • credits may be deducted at the time a task is submitted, processed, completed, or otherwise consumed by the system
  • the number of credits used may vary by feature type and mode
  • visible estimates or labels are informational and may be updated as features change

Where a task consumes platform resources, credits may still be deducted even if the user is dissatisfied with the creative or analytical result.


5. Failed, Interrupted, or Abnormal Tasks

BACKNEO aims to operate fairly, but AI processing systems may occasionally fail, time out, or return incomplete results.

In such cases, the platform may, at its discretion, decide whether a credit adjustment, retry logic, or no adjustment is appropriate based on the nature of the failure.

BACKNEO reserves the right to distinguish between:

  • genuine system failure
  • user-side interruption
  • unsupported input
  • policy-triggered refusal
  • abnormal or abusive usage behavior

A task refused, blocked, or interrupted due to prohibited content, misuse, unsupported materials, or user-caused issues may remain chargeable.


6. Credit Purchases

Credits may be purchased through the payment methods and package options made available on the platform.

By making a purchase, you confirm that:

  • you are authorized to use the payment method provided
  • the billing information submitted is accurate
  • the transaction is made for legitimate use of the service

Purchased credits are added to the user account designated at the time of purchase, subject to successful payment confirmation and platform processing.


7. Pricing and Package Changes

BACKNEO may update:

  • credit package sizes
  • promotional offers
  • pricing
  • feature-specific credit consumption rules
  • availability of certain credit plans

Any such changes apply prospectively unless otherwise stated.

Previously purchased credits will remain subject to the rules in effect at the time of use, except where a change is required for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or core operational integrity.


8. Refunds

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, credit purchases are generally non-refundable once successfully delivered to the user account.

This is because credits provide access to digital service capacity and platform resources that may be reserved, allocated, or consumed immediately.

Refunds, reversals, or goodwill adjustments may be considered only in limited circumstances, such as:

  • duplicate charges
  • confirmed payment error
  • confirmed system-side crediting error
  • exceptional cases reviewed by the platform

BACKNEO reserves sole discretion in determining whether any refund, correction, or account adjustment is appropriate.


9. No Transfer or Resale

Credits may not be:

  • transferred between users
  • sold or resold
  • exchanged outside the platform
  • pledged, assigned, or sublicensed
  • used for unauthorized commercial redistribution schemes

Any attempt to trade or misuse credits outside intended platform functions may result in suspension or account termination.


10. Expiration and Account Status

BACKNEO may apply reasonable rules regarding credit validity, inactivity, promotional credit expiry, or account-based usage restrictions where stated on the platform.

If no separate expiration period is stated at the time of issuance, purchased credits will remain associated with the account unless removed due to:

  • refund reversal
  • payment dispute or chargeback
  • fraud investigation
  • account abuse
  • legal or compliance requirements
  • account termination under the Terms

Promotional, bonus, test, or goodwill credits may be subject to separate conditions and may expire earlier than purchased credits.


11. Chargebacks, Reversals, and Fraud

If a payment is reversed, disputed, charged back, or reasonably suspected to involve fraud, BACKNEO may:

  • remove the related credits
  • suspend account access
  • offset negative balances
  • delay future service access
  • investigate the account and associated usage

Users may lose access to credits or related outputs where reasonably necessary to protect the platform from payment abuse or financial loss.


12. Displayed Balances and Records

BACKNEO may display credit balances, usage history, and related activity inside the user account.

While the platform aims for accuracy, temporary delays, synchronization issues, or interface discrepancies may occasionally occur.

The platform’s internal transaction records will control in the event of a conflict, subject to correction of genuine errors.


13. Promotional Credits

BACKNEO may occasionally issue promotional or bonus credits for testing, campaigns, goodwill, or limited feature access.

Such credits may:

  • have limited validity periods
  • be restricted to certain features
  • be revoked if issued in error
  • be canceled upon abuse or account violation
  • carry conditions separate from purchased credits

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional credits have no cash value and are not refundable.


14. Suspension and Adjustment Rights

BACKNEO reserves the right to suspend, withhold, correct, revoke, or adjust credits where reasonably necessary to address:

  • technical errors
  • billing mistakes
  • abuse
  • fraud
  • policy violations
  • security concerns
  • legal obligations
  • operational integrity

These rights are intended to preserve fairness and platform stability.


15. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for reviewing:

  • the credit cost of actions before use
  • the suitability of the selected feature or mode
  • their own remaining balance
  • whether important outputs have been downloaded in time

Users should not assume that all generated work will remain stored indefinitely or that any task can be reversed after resource consumption has begun.


16. Changes to This Policy

This Credits Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in platform design, billing logic, feature offerings, or operational practice.

The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Credits Policy.
